Community Involvement

Personal injury law is more than just a job to the team at Shapiro Winthers & McGraw P.C.

We believe in going above and beyond client representation to support the organizations in our community that are likewise dedicated to supporting the values of equality, research and education, and personal growth following life-changing injuries or disabilities. Our firm supports community organizations through financial contributions and donating our time to various leadership roles.

The attorneys and staff at Shapiro Winthers & McGraw P.C. play an active role in numerous organizations throughout the community.

Our team members serve on the boards of the United States Brain Injury Alliance, Colorado Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund, and the Anti-Defamation League and are also proud to support the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, The Chanda Plan Foundation, and the Latin American Education Foundation. We frequently present at seminars as our way of promoting science, rehabilitation, opportunity, and education within our community.

As a successful personal injury law firm dedicated to those suffering from serious personal injuries, we sincerely believe that it is our duty to give back to the people of Colorado. We care deeply about our clients and the community in which we all live.

We are very humbled by the relationship our firm has cultivated with the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC). BIAC is an incredible organization whose mission is to assist Coloradans affected by brain injuries through rehabilitation and support, helping individuals return to a thriving role within our community. Our team is grateful for the opportunity to support BIAC by sharing our expertise at BIAC conferences, and by sitting on or serving in various roles on the Board of Directors including Past President of the Board.

The Chanda Plan Foundation is another organization we are extremely proud to support. The Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for persons with physical disabilities by allowing them to access integrative therapies, working toward this mission by providing direct therapeutic services and systemically changing how individuals access integrative therapies. Chanda Plan Foundation’s work to treat symptoms of brain and spinal cord injuries, as well as cerebral palsy, spina bifidia, and multiple sclerosis is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.
