Attorneys at the firm in attendance included Steve Shapiro, Melissa Winthers, Amanda Pfeil, and Amy Rogers. The Chanda Plan Foundation provides access to integrative therapy to improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs for persons with physical disabilities. Melissa Winthers is on the foundation’s board of directors and has served as the Board’s Secretary.
Shapiro Winthers has sponsored and attended the event every year for the last 7 years, but this year’s event was particularly special as the Chanda Center for Health, a new health center for people with long-term physical disabilities, opened its doors last year in Lakewood, Colorado.
The expanded space creates additional capacity to deliver more services to new participants. Shapiro Winthers P.C. is proud to sponsor the Chanda Center’s board room which is featured below. In our practice helping people with spinal cord injuries and brain injuries we have found integrative therapies to be very effective in helping improve the quality of life for survivors of traumatic injuries.
